This Pocillopora is an ideal way to start your SPS collection as it is one of the most tolerant SPS. It has a close branching formation and has pink polyps, especially at the tips, with a cream base.
Frags will be between 3 to 4cm mounted on a fragstone.
How long we've kept this coral: 16 years.
Tips
- Calcium and alkalinity levels are important for all corals but especially so for SPS - for tips on maintaining the correct levels see the Reef Chemistry page.
- SPS respond well to food of the right size - we feed ours regularly on rotifers.
